Growing out of China Export Base Development Ningbo Corporation which was established in 1985, is a new-model trans-professional, trans-regional, trans-ownship share-holding enterprise with the registered capital of RMB yuan 120 million. The company has been ranked in Top 500 I/E Enterprises in China since 1993.

　　The Company owns 22 subs- subsidiaries, I wool-knitting garment factory, I forwarding agency, I labour export company, 2 automobile sale and service companies, and 8 import and export departments.

　　The Company owns 36,000 square meters of office buildings and factories, over 1,000 square meters of auto exhibition hall, and over 3,000 square meters of auto repair factory.

　　The Company engages in the export trade of copper, textiles, garments, light industrial products, arts & crafts, foodstuffs, metals, machinery, chemicals, electronic & electrical products etc. and the import trade of steel, wool, plastics, chemicals, chemical fiber, iron ore powder, machinery equipment, cars and car parts etc.

　　In 2000, the total import and export value was USD 156.78 million, an increase of 67% over 1999.

　　In 2001, the total import and export value was USD 296.98 million, an increase of 89% over 2000.

　　In 2002, the total import and export value was USD 415 million, an increase of 40% over 2001.

　　In 2003, the total import and export value was USD 777 million, an increase of 84% over 2002.

　　In 2004, the total import and export value was USD 1096 million, an increase of 40.9% over 2003.

　　In 2005, the total import and export value was USD 1134 million, an increase of 3.47% over 2004.

　　In 2006, the total import and export value was USD 836 million, an increase of -26% over 2005.

　　In 2007, the total import and export value was USD 1064. million, an increase of 28% over 2006.

　　In 2008, the total import and export value was USD 1390 million, an increase of 32% over 2007.
