The company mainly produces “Lufang” brand high-purity cathode copper, smooth and fine from surface with uniform and compact texture. The impurity in the product is only one third (20ppm) of the standard (65ppm) stipulated by the State. In 2008, the company was awarded with the “Nonferrous Metals Product Quality Gold Medal” which is the symbol that the copper product from the company is one of the best products all over the world. The company, together with China Nonferrous Engineering and Research Institute, has developed the program of “Oxygen Bottom-blown Smelting Technology for Polymetallic Trapping”. Owning completely independent intellectual property right, the program has been listed in the scientific and technological supporting plan of the state; it is also one of the 17 key scientific and technological programs under the supervision and guidance of the State Council. The technology has been under strengthened promotion and popularization as “a key technology of great significance in facilitating the upgrading and vitalization of nonferrous metals industry”.
Through over many years of production practice, various technical indices of the program have reached the world leading level, which represents that our company has developed the most advanced sets of equipment and techniques for comprehensive polymetallic extraction involving copper, gold, silver, etc. In2010, the technique won the “First Prize for Progress in Science &Technology in Shandong Province” and “First Prize for Science &Technology in China’s Nonferrous metals Industry” in succession. It has filled the vacancy in nonferrous metals industry, both at home and abroad; it also has been recorded in the history as “the world’s fourth generation of new copper smelting technology”. In 2011, the technology was listed into”Nonferrous metals industry ‘Twelfth Five-Year’ development plan” by MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China).
